A friend of mine just sent me a link to this exhibit, Ashes and Snow. It’s nothing short of beautiful and amazing. The photography is so tranquil. Man swimming with whales and elephants. Children sitting next to cheetahs. I definitely want to see this exhibit if it comes anywhere near Canada again. It’s currently on display in Santa Monica, CA and was previously in New York City.

I saw this show 3 times. The 1st time I went alone. I wept. The 2nd time I brought my son. I wept. The 3rd time I brought 3 classrooms of 10 and 11 year old public schoo children, teachers and parent drivers. I wept. The parents and teachers were moved, happy to have seen the show and the kids were full of wonder.
