i want one
i’m watching the apple keynote address at MacWorld and they just unveiled the iPhone. it sounds amazing. 1) widescreen ipod 2) mobile phone 3) internet communicator. all in one device! not 3 separate cool products. i’ve been waiting for the widescreen ipod, but i didn’t think it would be part of the iphone. and with internet capabilities! omg. it looks and sounds incredible. i wonder how much this is going to cost. i better start saving for this one. and i really hope they get this with a wireless carrier in canada. maybe it’ll be useful enough just as an ipod/internet device without even requiring the phone contract. and it runs Mac OS X, so I’m sure there will be a bunch of very cool applications developed for it.
Update: John Wiseman contacted the Canadian phone companies and there’s some good and bad news. Good news: it’ll be available in Canada eventually. And from Rogers, my carrier. Bad news: it likely won’t be until Q4 2007 or sometime in 2008. Uuugh.
