The Complete Guide to Isometric Pixel Art

Yet another cool thing I’d love to try. You know those little pixel drawings that are becoming very popular, well this guy did a tutorial on how to get started and you don’t need a lot to get to work. MSPaint(ugh) will do the job for the most part.

Whenever I’m looking to get a new game for my phone, I first check WGR Wireless Gaming Review to see if the game is any good. They’ve got ratings and screenshots. Useful so you’re not wasting your hard-earned cash to buy a crap game.

Need to email large files by email? YouSendIt

July 16th, 2004

The era of free webservices aren’t over. In the spirit of the 90’s tech boom and free storage sites everywhere, another one has risen from the ashes of Xdrive, iDrive, etc. YouSendIt allows you to email large files. You upload the file to their servers, it emails a unique URL to the recipient and the link stays active for a few days until the file is purged from their system.

Gush - RSS reader & IM all in one. Cross-platform too, oh my.

July 16th, 2004

I was just pointed in the direction of Gush, a new RSS reader with IM built in (for AOL, MSN, Y!,ICQ,Jabber). And it runs on Win,Linux & OS X. And it’s got some neat ways of displaying photos within blogfeeds.

I’m going to give it a shot. I love my current reader Abilon a lot, hopefully I won’t have to upgrade to something even better.

Update: Oooh man, this looks cool. The GUI is …Gooey! Very non-windows, very Mac-ish. This will just feed my powerbook envy.
